The 180 movie is definitely a powerful film that has the potential to change and save lives. This is a movie created by Ray Comfort, who is an evangelist and author who has done a number of TV shows and films before. After watching this movie, all I can say is "Wow." It's really mind-boggling.
The basic idea behind this movie is that Ray is walking around the streets talking to people about some important issues. What it boils down to is that he is trying to change people's minds about abortion. If you've ever tried to talk to someone who is "Pro Choice" you would think this is a fool's errand. However, I think this is part of what drew me into wanting to watch the film to begin with. Seeing how someone else with more confidence and boldness handles these situations.
Although the movie itself was amazing and potentially life-changing for some people, the one thing that I could find wrong with anything was in the marketing. If you watched the trailer for this film, you saw them promoting a single question that changed these people's minds about abortion.
When you watch the film, that single question doesn't really stick out. I mean he definitely did change several people's minds on abortion, but it was more with a series of questions. Small gripe, I know, but don't expect to come away from the movie with a magic question that you can ask anyone then suddenly change their mind on abortion.
I really like this movie a lot. It was well done and it brought up some very powerful logic that pretty much puts the whole abortion thing in its place. If you can watch this movie and still think that it's a "Woman's choice" to kill an innocent child, I don't know what else to tell you.
The movie itself isn't really a movie lenght as it only takes about 30 minutes to watch. It keeps it short and to the point. One of the Highlights of the film was Ray talking to a neo-Nazi guy and seeming to make some progress.
Ray is a very talented guy and God has definitely anointed him to handle this kind of work. I hope that it changes lives and some opinions on abortion and the Christian faith in general.
In a rare treat, we can actually include the movie right here on the page for you. Typically, when we do a movie review, it's just the review. However, this one is available for free so if you want to check it out, just push play and enjoy.
