What are the Best Colleges for Christians?

If you are interested in finding the best colleges for Christians, you definitely have a lot of options to choose from. There are some good colleges out there that still put God first. After all, college doesn't have to mean drinking from a keg stand and hooking up with girls at the bar.

It can actually be a place to get an accelerated Christian education and put God first. Here are some of the top rated Christian schools in the country.

Wheaton College

Wheaton College has been around for 150 years and it is located in Wheaton, Illinois (go figure). Besides being the alma mater of Kansas City Chiefs legend-in-the-making Andy Studebaker, it is also an interdenominational Christian school. They are part of the NCAA Division III and have great academics as well. They were listed at #103 on the top 500 schools in a Forbes ranking for the 2009-2010 academic year. Not bad for little Division III school from Wheaton, Illinois.

Evangel University

Evangel University is associated with the Assemblies of God church and is located in Springfield, Missouri. This is a great school that is part of the NAIA division II in athletics. If you are looking for a good Christian school in a medium-sized town in Mid-America, this could be the place for you.

Oklahoma Baptist University

Oklahoma Baptist University is a college that is located in Oklahoma and they are affiliated with the Baptist church. Pretty unbelievable right? Seriously though, even though they were not very creative on the name of the school, they do have a great Christian University to attend. Try to overlook the fact that they're located in Oklahoma and it becomes that much more attractive (kidding Okies).
