Christian ActorsWhile it may seem like everyone in Hollywood is crazy, there are a few Christian actors out there. In fact, over the years there have been quite a few. Now why does it matter if they're Christian or not? I guess if you're just watching them in a movie it doesn't. You can watch whatever actors and actresses you want and it won't make a difference.The big thing with identifying these actors is that you can find a common bond with them. It helps to know that there are other people out there who share your beliefs...especially if they're famous. It gives your children someone to look up to. It helps them to realize that they can grow up to be as successful as they want to be with Jesus as their Savior. You don't have to compromise your beliefs to become successful. Ryan Gosling - He is one of the most talented actors in Hollywood and has been in such movies as "The Notebook" and "Fracture". Mr. T- How could I rightfully include a list of Christian actors and not put Mr. T on here? Seriously? He has to be one of the coolest guys ever. (Insert "pity the fool" reference here.) Kirk Cameron- One of everyone's favorite actors back in the day. He was in Growing Pains and a few other shows in the 80's and 90's. It's one you don't want to miss if you haven't seen it yet. _______________________________________ Mel Gibson- Yes, I'm sure you've heard a lot about Mel Gibson in the news over the last few years. Regardless of whether or not he's screwed up a few times, he's still a Christian. He also directed the most successful Christian movie of all time "The Passion of the Christ." Roma Downey- As it turns out the "Touched by an Angel" lady is actually a Christian. Andy Griffith- He actually starred in "The Andy Griffith Show". Bet you didn't know that. Oh yeah, he's also Matlock. Chuck Norris- Oh yeah...that Chuck Norris. Featured in "Walker Texas Ranger" and Chuck Norris Jokes. What's that? You want to hear a few Chuck Norris jokes? -When the Boogeyman goes to sleep everynight, he checks his closet for Chuck Norris. -There is no theory of evolution. Just a list of creatures Chuck Norris has allowed to live. -There is no 'ctrl' button on Chuck Norris's computer. Chuck Norris is always in control. Charlton Heston- The guy who played Moses was actually a Christian too? Go figure. Obviously there are a lot more Christian actors, but these are just a few of the best that I could find.
