Christian Movie Reviews - Spiderman 3

This edition of Christian movie reviews will focus on the most successful movie from last year- Spiderman 3. Again, this movie has nothing to do with Christianity, but it is a very entertaining movie.

Pretty much everyone and their brother has seen the first two Spiderman movies. If you are one of those people, then there's a very good chance that you'll enjoy the third installment as well.

In this edition, one of the coolest new things is the battle that goes on between Spiderman and himself. An other-wordly substance attaches itself to him and creates a scary looking black suit. It has a negative affect on him and his life.

Another great thing about this movie is the villains. The Sandman is quite an achievement in special effects. To give you an idea, the guy is made out of sand and can change himself into any shape or size he wants. You can imagine how difficult this would be to make somewhat believable, but they pulled it off.

Spidey's black suit turns someone else into a villain as well, and the results are somewhat frightening. His teeth look somewhat like a giant piranha and his roar is reminiscent of Alien.

Peter's buddy Harry is also back as the new and improved Green Goblin. Their struggle to put their differences aside is an interesting subplot that helps to add to the intrigue of the movie.

Overall this is a really entertaining movie. It's pretty much a family movie and shouldn't really offend you as a Christian in any way that I can think of. It's full of action, romance, and comedy, so get ready for a great time. It recently came out on DVD and it is well worth renting or owning. Check it out a.s.a.p.
