Christian Rock Music

Christian rock music is one of the most popular genres of music

in the world today. There are many different bands out there at the moment that are great Christians and they put out some fantastic music at the same time.

In order to be a Christian rock band, that does not necessarily mean that you have to put out worship music or play exclusively on Christian radio. Many Christian bands out there do not find it necessary to preach to the masses through their songs. Instead, they lead by example and just put out really good music.

We could use more Christians in every field of the world. When they are influential people like a rock band, that is even that much better. Wouldn't it be great if young Christian kids everywhere could look up to many different Christian rock bands that were being played on secular radio?

Instead of the filth that generally fills up the "pop" music airwaves, why not have some Christian bands rocking out? I can't think of one good reason why not.

So what types of bands am I referring to? Here is the short list that I can think of off the top of my head...Paramore, Flyleaf, Switchfoot, Chevelle, Paper Tongues, and P.O.D. I know there are many more where that came from. The point is that we need to embrace the music as much as we can and embrace the artists that are putting it out there.
