Christian travel companies present us with some amazing opportunities to see the world. While there are many reputable companies out there, there are the select few that aren't so reputable.
It's those companies that scare off potential customers for the industry.
Where are some places that these Christian travel companies like to visit? Let's take a look at the popular attractions.
The Israel Wailing Wall
The Wailing Wall is one of the most recognizable structures in Israel. Many people have seen this image from around the world and it remains significant for today's Jewish religion. It is a very popular tourist site for people on all Holy Land tours.
The Dead Sea
The Dead Sea is the sight of some pretty significant events in The Bible. Today it is one of the most popular destinations for Christian travel. Where else can you go and float in the water because of the high salt concentrations? That's right...nowhere. Well if there is somewhere else, it's probably not as cool as the Dead Sea. It is appropriately named Dead because nothing lives in it.
The Jordan River
The Jordan River is world-renowned as the place to get baptized. Jesus himself was baptized in the Jordan river and it is a place for Christians all over the world to visit. As far as rivers go, it's really nothing that unbelievable, but just the historical significance makes it worth a visit.
The place of the skull is known all over the world as the hill where Jesus was crucified. The significance of this site is obvious. Millions of people travel to this site to see the place where their Savior was crucified for their sins.
For those that want to see where the story of Moses and Pharaoh went down, this is the place to be. One of the most amazing stories that ever took place happened on this site. Can you imagine waking up to frogs, and blood coming out of your tap? Not to mention all the other plagues. I think I'd be telling Pharaoh to let the people go already!
Besides all of that, there's this minor little side attraction of some pretty neat architecture. Something about triangle shaped building built before modern tools. I don't know, you'll have to check it out when you're there.
The Billy Graham Library
The Billy Graham Library is another cool place to check out that's in Charlotte, North Carolina. This destination shows off Billy Graham's childhood home and a lot of cool memorabilia about his life. Definitely worth a visit and it doesn't cost a dime to see.
