Christian Troubled Teens

Christian troubled teens are everywhere. The teenage years are arguably the most difficult time for a Christian.

Well...you're not.

No one said it would seem logical. In fact, everyone around you may think you're nuts for not endulging. I know from experience. For years, I tried my best to do the right thing. But eventually I gave in to temptation.

I failed to live for Jesus in every situation. You've probably experienced a similar situation in your life. Pressure from your friends is tough to overcome. You hear things like "you're only young once." Sometimes, things can get the best of you. What are young Christians to do?

The good news is, you can overcome it. Luckily, we serve a God that is loving and understanding. We live by grace, not works. Therefore, God will undoubtedly forgive you when you fall.

I know that temptation is out there. Drugs, alcohol, sex, and about a million other things are prevalent. However, you can overcome. When you feel lost, there is one great place to turn... The Scripture. It is the only perfect reference that you'll find. It has all the answers.

If something happens and you do screw up (and you will), let it go. Don't dwell on it, and ask God for forgiveness.
