Does The Secret Really Work?

Does The Secret really work? This is a question that is being asked a lot more frequently these days.

With the emergence of the movie "The Secret" millions of people are being introduced to the Law of Attraction. Once someone is introduced, the first question that hits them is, "Does The Secret really work?"

This is kind of important. If it doesn't really work, then you've just wasted $5 watching a documentary online. It would be like a network marketing presentation...it's a great theory, but it doesn't work in real life. Although you've been thouroughly entertained for the last 90 minutes, you've just wasted your time. Did you really get your hopes up for nothing?

So does The Secret really work? The short answer to this question is...yes. It works like a charm. In fact, it's working right now in your life. That's right, in YOUR life.

You might be thinking something like this; "Wait a minute. I'm sitting in front of my computer at 2:30 in the morning trying to find a way to pay off my 6 credit cards. After reading 13 variations of sales letters (with a 90 day money back guarantee) promoting the latest push button internet money generator, I stumbled upon your site. There's no way I attracted this scenario."

Well I'm going to suggest that you did attract it. You attracted every last bit of it. You attracted more and more debt simply because that is most likely your consuming thought. If you don't think it is, take a second look. You're on the computer at 2:30 in the morning trying to find a way to pay off your 6 credit cards. The more you focus on it, the more it grows.

On a side note...about the earlier mentioned push button internet money generating system...Do you really believe those work? Put yourself in the shoes of the person who invented said money generator. After you invented such a perfect system, would you be inclined to immediately sell it to the world for $97? Or would you move to a remote island in the South Pacific and actually take advantage of the constant stream of money? Just a thought.

Back to the original question... Does The Secret really work? If you've seen the movie, an excellent point is brought up. It has undoubtedly happened to everyone. Think back to a time when you wake up in a terrible mood. Your toy poodle starts barking at his shadow at 5:42 in the morning and you can't go back to sleep.

When you finally give up negotiating with the alarm clock, trying to get five more minutes of sleep, you step on your kid's toy at the foot of the bed. Immediately you get angry.

Before you know it, one thing has lead to another and you've had a terrible day. A series of bad things have unfolded and they just keep coming throughout the day. Why does this happen? Now does The Secret really work?

When you're in a negative vibration, you attract negative things. You can control your vibration by the thoughts that you choose. If you focus on wanting to throw your son's G.I. Joe command center with barbed-wire fence across the room first thing in the morning, you're probably not going to have a very good day.

So you're still asking...Does The Secret really work? Ok, still not convinced? I'll give you a personal story of how the law of attraction worked in my life.

A while back, my wife and I both worked. We had a baby girl and one of my most important goals was to get her out of daycare. The only problem was, I had no idea how to do this. Our income didn't even cover all the bills currently. There was no way my wife could quit her job.

Then came a second kid on the way. God kind of forced me into change. Paying daycare costs for two kids would be more than my wife made at her job. Therefore, it was unrealistic to think she could keep working. I had to do something. With only a few months to go, the birth was coming soon.

Then at the advice of a dear mentor, I started to believe that it would work out. He told me to look at what I enjoy doing. I didn't necessarily have to get a night job at McDonald's to support my family. Money comes from many sources.

He encouraged me to look at doing what I love. I've always loved to write, so I started looking for ways to get paid doing so. Everyday, I visualized my wife and kids at home. I was getting paid doing something I love.

A few weeks later, I was randomnly surfing the internet. I stumbled upon exactly the opportunity I was looking for. Without mentioning the site I found, I discovered freelance writing. I could get paid to write! I started immediately and more than made up for my wife's income.

While this is no story of controlling the lottery with my mind, it is definitely not a coincidence. I got exactly what I was looking for. The difference came when I believed I would find it.

So again...Does The Secret really work? Yes! Remember that you attract everything into your life. Guard your thoughts carefully. Attract what you want into your life.
