Running a business is not the same as running a worldly business. Indeed if you follow Bible teachings then there are some changes that you will need to make regarding your whole business process. Whether it is the management or marketing areas, for instance, everything will be impacted by Christian principles. Masters, be just and fair to your slaves. Remember that you also have a Master--in heaven. (Col 4:1, NIV)

As a Christian businessman you should also be careful on the way you treat your employees. At a time where the world is speaking about sustainable development it might also be important that Christian business consider their employees well. Make sure that you provide your employees with a good working environment and an appropriate salary.

Ethics

At this point in time I will also want to speak a bit about the importance of having an ethical conduct. As a Christian businessman you should make sure that you behave in an ethical way if you want to give a good testimony of your faith. Make sure that you obey all laws, rules and regulations that exist in your business sector and do not look for any shortcuts.

Christian businessman should always make sure that their businesses are run under the guidance of the bible if they want to give a good testimony in the world. Indeed Christians are not called to shine only in the church but in every area of their life.
