Law of Attraction History

If this is new to you, Law of Attraction history may be something you are interested in.

Where did this come from? Why have I never heard of it? These are all common questions.

It is unknown exactly where the term Law of Attraction started. However, the law has been around since the beginning of time. God didn't just put it into place recently.

Modern Law of Attraction history can be traced back to an amazing book, written around 1900. "The Science of Getting Rich" was written by Wallace D. Wattles, and is the inspiration for the movie "The Secret". While it doesn't specifically use the term Law of Attraction, it outlines the precise steps needed to follow it.

Wallace Wattles includes an amazing concept as the syllabus of the book. To quote, he says, "There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe."

To paraphrase this statement it basically means that everything is made of the same formless substance. When you break everything in the universe down, it's all just energy. Therefore, this "formless substance" is everywhere and in everything. It is a thinking substance that takes the form of whatever you think about.

The formless substance doesn't care what it becomes. It is going to transform into something anyways, so why not be something spectacular.

This concept, written by Wattles is a groundbreaking step in Law of Attraction history. It helped pave the way for hundreds of other books on the subject.

One of the more prominent books that was written after "The Science of Getting Rich" is "Think and Grow Rich." Many people are familiar with this classic by Napoleon Hill. Thousands of people have credited this book as the inspiration for their success. It has produced many millionares and eventually will produce millions more.

If you're not familiar with the concept of this book, it is fascinating to say the least. To summarize, the author Napoleon Hill was given an assignment as a young man. He was instructed by the billionaire Andrew Carnegie to research for 20 years. Carnegie contributed the secrets of his success within the pages of the book.

Over the years, Napoleon Hill researched first-hand some of the most successful people in American business history. Names like Thomas Edison and Henry Ford were some of the subjects of the book.

Hill compiled his findings from studying hundreds of successful people with the help of Andrew Carnegie. He then wrote the book "Think and Grow Rich."

One of the most prominent quotes from the book supports the Law of Attraction perfectly.

"If you are one of those who believe that hard work and honesty, alone, will bring riches, perish the thought! It is not true! Riches, when they come in huge quantities, are never the result of HARD work! Riches come, if they come at all, in response to definite demands, based upon the application of definite principles, and not by chance or luck."

Keep in mind that this was written AFTER he studied Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, Andrew Carnegie, and hundreds of other multi-millionaires. We've all been taught that if you simply work hard and do the right thing, you will be successful. We see through the Law of Attraction history archives that this is simply not enough. While those are part of the process, more is required. You have to keep what you want in your mind as often as possible.

Keep in mind that this is a very powerful tool that can be used positively or negatively. Napoleon was one of the more evil people in the history of the world, but he understood these principles.

He once said, "I see only the objective. The obstacle must give way." It was said that he had an unbelievable ability to sustain concentration on whatever he wanted. He is a perfect example of how to use this law the wrong way.

Law of Attraction history is also littered with the most successful leaders in the world. While they may have used it unconsciously, they all used it. While you may not yet be one of the most successful people in the world, there is no reason you can't start as of right now.
