When it comes to the subject of The Secret, TV reporters haven't exactly given it a fair shake. Most of them have been down right rude in most cases.

Although it can be frustrating if you let it, I think we should just ignore the negative criticism. In fact, this is one of the most life-changing movies ever made and people can just deal with it.

Whenever there is a groundbreaking discovery or revelation, the process usually goes through a few different stages. At first it is ridiculed. People just can't believe that this group of crazies is purporting this story to be true.

Another example of this was when the first person came up with the idea that the earth was round. To the people of that time period, that concept was utterly ridiculous. They couldn't believe that anyone would come up with a completely insane idea like that.

The next stage brings gradual acceptance. This stage sees a growing number of believers in the previously ridiculous theory. Gradually, people started to see that the earth really was round.

The next stage is when the truth becomes self-evident. In this stage, everyone sees that the idea is obviously true and proven. Think about where we are now in the whole "round earth" discussion. It's just commonly accepted today. We know it's round. There's not a question. However, it wasn't always like that.

Television reporters are only concerned with smearing the positive message associated with it. They are happy to bash something and then go home to their miserable lives and wonder why things can't be better. In reality, they too could have everything they desire if they only believed. Don't let some traditionally negative reporters, smear your dreams.
